(This article is part of the 'Mr. Cadillac Continuity', which focuses on the lore of Peach Creek.)

Bonyville Salt Flats, also known as 'Lake Bonyville', is a vast lake bed outside of Peach Creek. Used as a water source by the Eddy's ancestors at Fort Peach Creek, it eventually dried after irrigation redirected the river to the county's peach and lemon orchards

In the 1950's, it was used for breaking speed records. Family members of Kevin's set speed records on surplus military Harley-Davidsons, until it was it was used as an ammunition dump in 1963.

After the dump's abandonment in 1981, there were a string of deaths related to landmines in the area. Lake Bonyville was closed to the public until 2007, when the unexploded ordinance was completely cleared. . It is currently the final resting place of Eddy's Brother's car, after it collided with the 'Great Bonyville Rock', which had served as a diving board in the glory days of the lake. Environmentalists are currently lobbying for its return to lakehood, which doesn't go over well with the local farmers, who depend on the irrigation water to grow their crops.
